You've probably heard me rave about Manresa, a restaurant south of San Francisco. I can't wait to see chef David Kinch, as well as James Syhabout and John Paul Carmona. Unlike some starred chefs, Kinch is in the kitchen nearly every night, so he's still got chops.

I wish him luck on Iron Chef. I had a wonderful dinner at Manresa last August. It deserves its high reputation.

I don't want to give away the ending if you're going to watch the show, but Kinch's dishes on Iron Chef looked exactly like those in his restaurant. It was a lot of fun to watch him at work.
