This guy seems to be giving Bourdain a run for his money. I'd have to say the carp bladders looked most revolting to me....

Revolting, but then so are the stories my pedicurist, who is a nail product educator and travels all over the world to train, tells me about the food she is offered. She now tells her host/hostess right from the start, that she is vegetarian and will eat nothing but fruit and veggies. It is a fib, but she cannot tolerate all those non-familiar things like bladders, duck's bill, and insects being put in front of her.
Those pictures just ruined my glass of wine!!

I've actually had silkworm larvae before. but dried rather than fresh. Chewy and a bit salty, not particularly interesting flavour.
