Cheese Recall

Did you see this?

I got a letter from Sam's Club that some stilton I had purchased was being recalled. I purchased it in early December. After serving it to friends and family over the holidays, that cheese is long gone.

Here's the link:

Check your cheese!

With Sam's you might be better off chucking than checking.

I dunno about that Chef.

I used to stick my nose up at Sam's Club too. But some of their stuff is pretty good.

And they've started carrying some products that you couldn't regularly get here before, and now the grocery stores are starting to carry them.

At least you don't have to check your cheese.

How would anyone be able to tell that blue cheese was bad???? It *always* looks and tastes as if it is.

(I know, add this to my mayo aversion, and I should just resign my FLDG membership.....)

I don't like cilantro either. Tastes like soap.

I turn my nose up philosophically at Sam's (and Wal-mart.) Do a lot of shopping at Costco.

For the record, blue cheese looks disgusting andmy worst allergies are of mold spores, but if I ever am given a choice of dressings for a side when eating out, I almost always ask for the blue. 8)
