Hey Larry, I liked a frozen pizza

These came from Costco. Little individual "deep dish" types from a box of mixed pepperoni and four cheese. They baked up nice and crisp, and contain a generous quantity of a very tangy tomato sauce under whatever else has been applied, the two items that are the most crucial to my enjoyment. Topped with a handful of arugula lightly dressed in salt, oil and vinegar, they made a nice little lunch for me and my crew yesterday.

Sweet. And not HFCS.

I thought I had detected a disturbance in the force, but I didn't know what it was.

It's too bad we're not really neighbors, Jenise. You could come make real pizza at my house for your crew.

Meet my crew:

DSC03865.JPG

Maybe I should say my "posse", because they don't work for me, but rather they're best buddies and they've got my back. They emailed Sunday morning and said "We're ready to come pack." And they did--I never asked them, they just grokked that we would need the help and made room in their lives for us. And they were back Monday morning, spending the entire day here. Not shown: Anne's husband Ron, who was here too--probably humping boxes out to the garage when I took this shot.

And yes, Skippy (lower left) was most helpful and the cats are not the least bit plussed by him. He's so little that they don't seem to think he's a dog, and they know he's not another cat, so they've just surmised he's some kind of harmless alien creature. Which, of course, he is. :)

Larry, it just gets better: yesterday I actually read the directions :), and discovered that if I turn the little white carton over it has a silver side that will crisp the bottom of my pizza in the microwave. I can now be in frozen pizza heaven in three minutes instead of waiting 20 for the toaster oven! I had no idea such a thing had been invented.

Didn't know. I've never used MW popcorn.
