Whenever I run across color cookbooks from the '60s and into the '70s, I'm fascinated by the pictures, particularly the meat photos. They look unappetizing, vaguely alien and shiny with lots of highlights (corn syrup?). Anyway, I know they looked normal back then. Photos look much more appetizing now (will they look weird in the future?). What's your take?
