left over boeuf bourgignon

by David Creighton » Sun Jan 04, 2009 12:15 pm

hope i spelled that correctly. for NYE i did the boeuf thing for my few friends - i mean a few friends. i love to have left over sauce - great for filet mignon for instance. this morning i did breakfast with it.

slice of toast or similar
slice/s of ham
sliced or grated appenzeller(or comte or .....)
left over mushrooms and onions(i made too many and had them reserved)
left over bourgignon sauce

pile it all up (if grated, cheese on mushrooms; otherwise reversed) and bake until hot and bubbly. serve with, well, you know.....

ps. this is my first food post other than replys. yes, i must have liked it.

Now I don't want the lemon poppy seed scones that are about to come out of the oven.
