My Gift

by Robert J. » Sat Dec 27, 2008 1:06 am

To my Mother and her Husband I gave some wine that I collected from various wine tastings over the past year. I don't drink so I give them wine throughout the year, holding things back for gifts and such. But don't say anything as they think it came from Santa.

You're a good son. I see some nice labels there. And any time in the future you run into a truckload of Billecart Salmon Brut Reserve that no one else wants, just call me 'Mom'. :)
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Did you notice that Bartok is looking toward the "better" end of the piano?

I wanted to give them a nice mix of things: Tuesday night wines (McPherson Sangiovese, Tre Colore, Viognier, Rosé from a tasting I did with Kim McPherson) and wines to keep for a special occasion (Beauchene CDP, Fort Ross, Dark Horse, etc.)
