A Chef and His Mom

by Robert J. » Wed Dec 24, 2008 12:13 am

The holiday season is very busy for me. This year I had the wonderful opportunity to teach a class along side my mother. We demonstrated selections from our family's traditional Christmas Eve Mexican Food Feast. I must say that it was probably the most special moment I have had as a chef. Thanks Mom!

That's way beyond cool. I wish I could do that with my mom this year...

Y'know, I've never cooked with my mom or dad. You have me thinking that I need to do that.

That says volumes about you and your mom. Cherish that relationship.

Mom looks so proud of you. And vice versa. Great!

That's really nice Robert. I love your Mom's bouquet in the second photo!

Very nice that you two are able to cok together. My Mom and Grandma taught me to cook, so I can understand how great it is for you.

Oddly enough, even though she is right handed, she cuts left handed. My Watanabe is honed for a right handed cutter so she can't use it.
