Trader Joe's Dark chocolate chipotle hazelnuts

We picked some up last weekend. It was my first exposure to the chile and chocolate combination, and I was amazed at how good these are. Anyone else tried them?

I haven't tried those particular pieces, but I have enjoyed chiles with chocolates from others. Nice combo.

For example, from this local chocolate maker.

Aleppo Chile Truffle

Single origin chocolate infused with Aleppo Chile yields a chocolate with hints of fruit, mild cumin undertones, and very subtle heat. One of our customers favorite “fill the box”

Also haven't tried the Trader Joe's chocolates, but have eaten a number of kinds of chocolate with chile. It's a nice combo that dates back to the Aztecs. Several mfrs in NM also make chocolate/chile confections. And a pinch of cayenne in hot chocolate perks it up, too.
