What can I do with two Meyer lemons?

by Robert Reynolds » Thu Dec 11, 2008 11:46 pm

I just picked my entire harvest of two Meyer lemons from the plant in my living room. What would be the best use for them? I could slice one and top some chicken in the oven, but would almost rather not waste them on chicken. I'm open to suggestions.

Make lemon curd - dead easy in the microwave!

An excellent suggestion, Celia! :D
A lemon curd tart would be great eating while watching the Survivor season finale Sunday night.

I figure if you have only have TWO lemons, then it's good to make something that's really lemony. :)

Not a dummy! :)

Here's the original recipe : http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/529990

50g = 1.75 oz
150g = 5.3 oz

I have to convert all the time, and I find the easiest way to convert metric to imperial and vice versa is to simply type "convert 50g to oz" into Google. Google has a calculator built in which will do it automatically. Also, you can type in "San Francisco time" or whichever city, and it'll tell you what the current time there is!

Cheers, Celia

Ah, a tablespoon of lemon curd stirred through three tablespoons of plain Greek yoghurt ... heaven for breakfast.

Nota Bene, there is some TEXT to the side of the young lady but it is hard to make out.

Left as an exercise for the reader.

Well, Frank, now that you've broken the ice, I no longer feel constrained by decorum not to say:

Stuff them down your pants and go hit the singles bar.
