I'm suddenly ready to dump my Kitchen Aid for one of these.

Anybody know (or have a relative in the business) who can tell me what the markup, or wholesale vs. retail, is on these?

Jenise, you must keep a really clean/neat fridge. I'd hate to have all my little Saran Wrapped leftovers looking out at me. :)
Hello. My name is Carrie, and I...I....still like oaked Chardonnay. (Please don't judge.)

I'll bet I'm worse than you! That glass door is an option--I'd get the all stainless model. If I were to go that far. Which I shouldn't.

Jenice, we bought a Sub Zero with our kitchen remodel. Our cabinet maker had matching doors made for it to match our cabinets. At that time, Sub Zero offered that option on their models. Those big stainless pulls you see on the refer you are looking at are great. We had one put on the bottom freezer and a verticle one on the refer door.
I love the glass doors, too bad I'm not neater about my refer. I do keep it clean but I tend have too many condiments, and sometimes the leftovers get piled up. It is a good thing we have a second refer in the laundry room! It is condiment free and tends to stay a bit neater.

Looks a lot like several reach-ins I've had over the years. Except for the back-stressing drawers one would quickly tire of. I like the glass myself.

Don't have time to check prices right now, but I can assure you if you're looking to spend big bucks you don't need to look any further than Sub Zero or Viking.

Thing is, I've already purchased the Kitchen Aid. Got a $7000 model for $5200. Was happy to save the money vs. $10-15 on a Sub-Z. But I adore big chunky industrial looking things, and this Sub Zero has got that look in spades, and an appliance place has a floor model (stainless doors) priced to go. They offered it to me by email this morning at $12K "which is lower than our cost!". Since it's technically used (it's running on their floor at the moment), I think it should be a LOT lower than their cost--figuring out that part would enable me to bargain more effectively. If I don't talk myself out of it. :)
