Currently I'm on a quest to find the best recipe for Thai green chicken curry. Anyone have a favourite?

This is like coming down stairs on Christmas morning, tearing the paper off a present and opening the lid to an empty box. :P

I posted recipes for various Thai curry pastes (red, green, yellow, massaman, paneng) a while ago. The forum search should find them.

Thanks for the alert, Paul. I did a search but it failed to come up with any recipes. Will try again and look specifically for what you posted.

(Later.)
I just realised what your comment about empty Christmas boxes was all about.
You'll have to forgive me, I'm new in these parts and still getting my head around the conventions. I thought RCP meant a request for a recipe. I see now that it means "Here is a recipe".

I wonder if editing the title in the first post will allow you to remove the RCP tag? One of the kind administrators is nearby; I'll ask her if it can be done.

In the meantime, I would strongly endorse Victor Sodsook's "True Thai." I've made several recipes from that book (including green curry) and they are spectacular. It's my go-to guide for Thai cooking. Hmmm, maybe Robin could provide an Amazon linkie...?

Hi Matilda,

No worries and I was just giving you a little good natured ribbing.

I second Stuart Yaniger's recommendation of True Thai.

I'll see if I can clear up the confusion.

I'm another big fan of Sodsok's True Thai.

That's right, it does! And the reason it does is that it enables you to conduct searches for recipes and recipes containing key ingredients only, ferreting out those posts from regular discussion and even wine posts that mention having X as a characteristic or an ingredient in a dish served with that wine.
