Does anyone have opinions or anecdotes on the usefulness, reliability, biases or expertise of Gilles Pudlowski's (aka Pudlo) guides to food and dining in France? Thanks in advance...

Pudlowski is an absolute charmer - a good friend to whom I have related in writing as "the Colonel Blimp of French Cuisine". A bit pompous in both personal style and in his writing but by heaven, a man who understands food, supervises his book with extremely great care. And he does love restaurants. His writing and his guides are remarkablly accurate and to the point.
