Onions or Leeks?

by Karen/NoCA » Sun Oct 05, 2008 1:52 pm

I am making a tomato paella tonight which is basically an risotto, with thick slices of tomato layered on top. It ends up in the oven for the final cooking. I have leeks that I need to use up. Would the dish be just as nice with some onion and one leek?

I think it would be delicious with a leek in it.

Ditto. That will make it a bit earthier and richer. Good move.

So, you just want to take a leek...

Thanks for you positive comments. The leeks were a great addition to a dish I have been perfecting for a few months now. It was a great flavor booster.
