Hey Celia!

Celia, when I returned from my trip, my wonderful wife had prepared a batch of bagels, using your recipe.
I clicked a shot for you. I'll be eating them later this morning, for breakfast.

I pointed out to her that they appeared to be slightly misshapen. She didn't seem to find that information useful.

John, YOU appear to be slightly misshapen.

Listen Billings Boy, you'd better take a good, long look at that snapshot. I don't think you'll be finding bagels where you're going, misshapen or otherwise.

Nah, I hear Stuart's taken up with a woman who bakes.

And, I suspect he'll be more grateful for and less critical of surprise baked goods than some appear to be.

Sadly, John, I'll be a Butte Boy.

Oh man, I really didn't think this one through....

Jenise, it's not so much "wearing" as "containing."

Jeff, yup. Zircon-encrusted tweezers and all.

John, your Cindy is a STAR!!! I think they look wonderful, and I'm so glad you tried the recipe (though I'm sure Stuart will too, someday. ;)). Did she make any improvements to the recipe?

I hope the taste met up to your expectations...and make sure you thank Cindy for me. This was a nice post to wake up to on a Monday morning!

Cheers, Celia

PS. Original recipe is here, in case anyone else is willing to try it out for me. ;)

Pygmy pony included? Congrats, I guess. Butte's not my favorite corner of the Big Sky state, but you can get to those favorite corners (Seeley-Swan, Glacier/Waterton) a heck of a lot faster from Butte.
