I have no idea who that is but it looks like he would greatly benefit from a shower. Maybe even two.

Come on, Joe Cocker? "You are so beautiful...." Only song he ever sang in which one could actually understand the lyrics, if one didn't go to sleep first. :)

I liked his version of "You Can Leave Your Hat On" - was he the original singer or did he cover it?

PS - I know Randy Newman sang and wrote it, but ...

Hilarious! Love those creative lyrics.

Most of you may not realize it, but Joe's performance at Woodstock is often cited as the invention of the air guitar!

And 13 or so years later, Joe is in a suit, looking none the worse for wear, on stage at the Oscars, collecting a statue with Jennifer Warnes for "Up Where We Belong."

I think I need to queue up my Woodstock DVD!
Cheers!

If you can find Joe Cocker and John Belushi singing that song on the original SNL you will be in for another laugh riot. Thank you to Jenise and Celia!

Not me, James. :)

My only thought, when he sang that very first line, was how much I like his voice. Crazy, I know, but so was everyone else there at the time. :)

There are several videos redone in that manner but I think this one is still the best.

As for 'Leave Your Hat On". I'd much rather watch this version than any with Joe himself appearing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53urHmhmrPg&feature=related

You don't realise how long ago that was until you take a look at Rourke and Basinger today!

Basinger still looks better!
