The numbers are laughably small. May as well worry about lightning.

Propaganda from the processed cheese industry.

Yes, there is the occasional raw milk dairy that has hygiene problems.

And how many people died because of it, versus the documented folks who died and got ill the last time Big Agribusiness screwed up and shipped tons of tainted beef?

If anything, I'd say that the few dairies who take the time and effort to produce raw milk products are, if anything, far more conscious of, and painstaking about, proper food hygiene than your run-of-the-mill industrial dairy producing pasteurized products. And so, if anything, represent less of a health risk.

Bathtub cheese? Sounds like a great match for bathtub gin.

I agree, the threat is overblown. Just an excuse for the cheese police to justify their ban on raw milk cheeses.

The cases are from the homemade cheeses smuggled across the border, not from the big dairies.

Or plane crashes, or razor blades in Halloween apples...

As always, this smells of agribusiness propaganda. Aux armes citoyens! Pour le fromage...

It's for the children.

You don't hate children... do you?

Of course not! With proper seasoning, they're very tasty.

Stuart, based on my extensive penal experience, I'd say most American prisons serve a a knockoff
Kool-Aid type beverage. Not water. Very nutritional if you like sugar.

They wouldn't allow me to serve wine when I did my classes there.

More like the Flavor Aid favored by Jim Jones. Only a slower death.
