My Dad has been eating a lot of lamb lately and is looking for savory sauce (not sweet..since he has diabetes) Most mint jellies are loaded with sugar, plus he doesn't like sweet sauces on meats in any case. I can't really help him since I don't care for lamb myself, but was wondering if someone could recommend something.
He says that he uses salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil as prep. Sears it on both sides in a grill pan and finishes it in the oven.
Any suggestions?
