Official forum welcome

by Bob Henrick » Thu Mar 23, 2006 8:04 pm

I suspect that I have forfeited my role as the forum's official welcome(er). but even given that, here is my first welcome back to all of you. I really hope this place works as well as the first 9 plus years in our old original home.

... that this "new" home will be as good or better than the old original house ... definitely more compfy than Robin's TOO new living room over on the Netscape "board" ... think over there, Robin was getting up every morning and walking into that living room and saying to himself, "where the hell am I ?"

Thanks for the welcome ol' friend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I begged him several times to empty the ashtrays over there, but would he listen? Noooo.

WOW ! That descriptor is so right on, I'm amazed I didn't think of the same scenario ... THAT was the huge difference between Robin's original living room and his new digs at Netscape ... UGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What great timing! I was just going to post something to you about olive oil, but I think I'll make it a new post.

We have decided that the HEAVE TO AND PREPARE TO BE BOARDED approach to negotiating is now necessary. We are sending another contract up to be voted down. I suspect a few more of these votes until election day :D

But ...haven't been able to participate much. I gave notice to my employer a couple of weeks ago and the transition has had me working all sorts of hours. But its over now, I start the new job Monday.

Richard, good luck with the new job--sounds like a voluntary change, so may it bring you more satisfaction and prosperity.
