:oops: My cookie sheets will not withstand the temps required to bake bisquits without warping. Robin's recipe recently posted in a Foodletter calls for 450. The recipe on the back of the White Lily flour bag calls for 500!!

Can anyone suggest a baking sheet that will handle a very hot oven? Thanks so much for your assitance!!!

Lincoln Wearever should be up to the task......

This latter is the key. I have a heavy gauge sheet I bought at Target (I forget the brand) and it's the one that doesn't warp even at high temps. OTOH, what's the big deal with warping? It sounds bad, I grant you, but it doesn't affect much of anything, does it? I'd guess that most baking recipes were developed using baking sheets that warped.

We have a couple of heavy duty ones made by Vollrath. I think we got them at a restaurant supply shop, so you might try one of those.

Well, if you're making something in a layer, the batter can run to the "deep" spot and form shallow pockets, which can overcook or burn.
It's probably less of an issue if you're just making cookies or using them to cook bacon.
