I just realized that today is the only day of the year in which, if you're Catholic, you aren't supposed to eat meat both the day before (Ash Wednesday) and the day after (Lenten Friday). So maybe there should be a special designation for it, such as Meat Day. I think I'll make a pot of beef stew tonight.
