Simple Sweet Potato

by Robert J. » Sat Feb 02, 2008 6:19 pm

I did this a several nights ago and meant to post it but got sidetracked.

Bake a sweet potato or garnet yam. When done open it up and mush the inside up with salt, chopped rosemary, and hazelnut oil. It's yummy.

That does sound good Robert. I love the flavor and aroma of rosemary, but I don't often use it so that that the herb itself is eaten. I don't like the way it feels in my mouth. If it is dried rosemary it is a little like straw, and if fresh a little like pine needle. I do find that used in a sauce or if used to flavor the chicken or pork roast it seems to soften a bit or else I can just brush it aside.. Love the aroma though and that makes it's use mandatory.
