Family Dinner

by Howie Hart » Sun Nov 04, 2007 10:29 am

My Brother-In-Law is in town for the weekend, so I had the family over for dinner last night (WNTs posted on Wine Forum).
Appetizer
Mushrooms stuffed with mild Italian sausage
Wine - Domaine Ste. Michelle Blanc de Noir NV
Dinner
Chicken Scalopine (Recipe in this thread)
Acorn Squash
Spinach
Garlic Bread
Wines - 1999 Joseph Drouhin Laforet Chardonnay
- 2006 Hart's Un-Oaked Chardonnay
Dessert
Baked Apple (Cortland) topped with raisins in rum sauce and vanilla ice cream
Wine - 2005 Pinot Noir Glace Noir - Niagara Escarpment

Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

Howie, the squash looks especially appetizing. That is exactly the way I like it! What a nice meal.
