Last night I get home and see what looks like some exuberant play by the boys in the back yard. I go over to the bushes and realize we have our first guavas! After the initial excitement, I realized I hadn't really thought about what to do with the fruit. I’m all for juicing, but if there is anything else that others have tried, I’ll be very happy to try that as well.
One possibility I thought that might work well is a guava juice reduction/glaze on pork (like a pork tenderloin glaze). Or working pieces into a mango/guava salsa. Any other ideas?
