I'm on a stir-fry type kick. Tuesday night brother, mother, daughter and I ate a teppanyaki place. So Wed I sliced up some pork chops and stir-fried in EVOO and when near done added some Jamaican Jerk marinade and water to deglaze the pan. Last night was sliced filet mignon sauteed rare with onions, red, yellow and green peppers and garlic.

We have friends from Wisconsin staying with us for the weekend. Tonight, Andy grilled up a delicious pork tenderloin and put together a romaine-red onion-radish-tomato salad while I made wild mushroom risotto. Drank a Nevada City Winery red blend with this that was quite tasty. A very nice meal.

Tonight was an arugula salad (see a theme there?), onion soup, and a 1995 Fonsalette Reserve CDR.

We seem to have gotten into a salad rut. I'm going to have to be a little more creative.

Taco's tonight utilising our home-grown tomatoes. Oh, the 1996 Premier Cru Red Burgundy

was a half-decent accompaniment and worth a mention, too.
