Nope, Robert, most of us weren't like you....

:? You weren't?

Jo Ann, I've always wondered what it would be like to get us all in a room together. A room with a kitchen, a big table and a few beds. Now THAT would be a story!

About the.... oh! The cooking, of course!

Precisely. In other matters, I am the obedient student...or is that obedient servant ;)

Well, I just stabbed myself in the finger (blood dripping on the keyboard) while attempting to pry apart frozen hamburg patties.

See? The Kitchen Gods are punishing you for using frozen hamburger patties!

Or maybe you're just clumsy..... :)

Howie, do you mean to confess that you buy a package of preshaped hamburger patties, and put them into the freezer to keep? are these hamburger patties not some range fed no hormone or steroid ground steak burger? Are you looking to be barred from this forum? shame on you. I bet a forum princess will be along to chastise you for this unforgivable break in forum rules. Cynthia? Jenise? where are you?

This thread is hilarious! Just what I needed after a long day at work.

As to the frozen hamburger patties, I've come real close to that a time or three. A few weeks ago, I was slicing some corn off the cob and took a slice off the knuckle of my salutin' finger. Fortunately didn't get any blood in the corn. :o

LOL!! Actually, they were fresh ground beef patties that I bought too many of for a cookout last week and I froze them myself.

Howie,

I did that a few days ago while cutting something. Sliced the tip of my thumb. Got so angry with Johnson & Johnson for making Band-Aid packs that must be open with two hands, or at least two thumbs, that I sent them an email to complain.

They sent me a $5 coupon and a standard "thanks for contacting us..."

I sliced my saluting finger on the mandoline the other night making radish coins for a composed salad. I wonder what I did to piss off the Gods?
