Do you make something like this?

Of course! It's a classic. I substitute other things for the cauliflower (one of the only two vegetables I can't stomach). Generally, this dish has a creamy sauce- was that how the one you had was done?

It was a few years back but doing some research on Indianfood.com (or something like that) I remember it had cauliflower, peas and I believe potatoes. I'm also thinking it may have had coconut milk. Do you have a tasty recipe?
I really loved it, the flavor was so good. By the way, I love cauliflower.

Here is a recipe I've used that sounds similar at least to what you describe except that it uses chickpeas instead of potatoes.

Curried Cauliflower with Chickpeas and Green Peas

¼ cup canned light coconut milk, divided use
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tsp. curry powder
¾ cup low-fat milk
4 cups small cauliflower florets (about 1 ½ pounds)
1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 cup frozen green peas
2 tsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves, loosely packed, for garnish

In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 TB of the coconut milk over medium-high heat. When the liquid starts to bubble, stir in the onion and garlic. Cook for about 4 minutes, stirring until the onion is translucent. Stir in the curry powder, and cook for about 30 seconds until the mixture becomes fragrant.

Add the remaining coconut milk and low-fat milk, cauliflower and chickpeas. Bring to a simmer, cover and reduce the heat and cook for 6-8 minutes until the vegetables are almost tender. Add the green peas, cover and cook for 4 minutes. Mix in the lime juice and season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve. Makes 8 servings. 91 calories/serving.

Paul, can you share a recipe for the masala dosa? Sounds heavenly.

And here's what we ended up having for dinner: salad greens with dijon vinaigrette, pork schitzels with fresh lemon and succotash (Stuart's fault), all of which we washed down with a '78 Leoville Barton.

After having a go at the South Course at Torrey Pines, it was off to dinner at Piatti in La Jolla. Grilled romaine wrapped in prosciutto followed by penne brassalato...penne pasta with braised lamb in a little red sauce with fresh mint and grana padana. Tokaij Friulano with the salad, barbera d'Alba with the entree. YUM!
Cheers!
