Oh dear
the paleo diet,

for heavens sake
grains aren't seeds?
this is in this is out
Frankly the paleo folk would have eaten anything that came their way.

Turning subsistence product into 1st world fads to the detriment of people who
can no longer afford to eat their staple food.

any way quinoa is overrated  :?

Don't get it

Grumpy but wishing everyone a happy new year

Agree with you Barb, though I love quinoa (especially with thyme and lemon).

A friend of mine went on some diet where beans and lentils were listed as "poison." Made me crazy to look at it.

What a coincidence! My wife never admits I'm her husband to other people, either.

You're terrible!

This was definitely the Year of Farro. It used to be seen only rarely and only in Italian restaurants. Now, I have seen it on every menu, in almost every store, and I have even cooked it myself.

If 2014 was the Year of Farro in New York, then that probably means that 2015 will be the Year of Farro out here. Thanks for the warning.

And that probably means that 8 years from now farro will be the hot new trend in the Great Lakes region.
