The challenge continues. Made a baby bok-choy stir fry tonite. Very good. Really enjoyed the various textures and crunch along with the flavor of course.
Sp far, way more hits than misses on this challenge/quest.

Because we are blessed with several Asian supermarkets I can buy all sorts of different bok choy. One of the most impressive transformations I remember -- I bought a bag of baby bok choy (they looked beautiful) and steamed them. Almost utterly flavorless, I said "how am I going to eat these things!?" Then I thought -- at Chinese restaurants they always have some kind of sauce on them. And I had some sweet Thai chili garlic sauce (the version from Lee Kum Kee) on hand. I sprinkled a teaspoon or two of the sweet red sauce on the bok choy and absolutely loved it. And then served that combination to various people who also loved it.
