The finished "Ramen Burger"... it was just ok. The buns are too bland. I'd prefer a decent Kaiser Roll, buttered and hit with a sprinkle of garlic powder then toasted under the broiler. If I were to do it again I'd make the buns thinner and crisper with some goodies like sauteed garlic and red peppers mixed in. I added a bit of Worcestershire, garlic powder, S&P to the burger mix then hit it with the soy sauce when done. Burger and greens were good.

If one uses the dried noodles, cooking with the seasoning packet would add flavor. Or you could add a boullion of beef or chicken, fresh garlic, even chile powder, or red chile flakes. Your burger looks great!

Personally, I am wondering what all the fuss is about with this, someone is doing some marketing. Recipes are popping up all over.

Lightly cooking noodles and browning them as 'nests' to serve under/along with a well-sauced mixed meat/vegetable stir-fry is commonly done in Asian kitchens. Jacketing a solid hunk of meat with a pair of them in the manner of a burger in a bun, however, is a new idea. And VERY appealing to fans of the former, like moi! But also understandably appealing to anyone who loves ramen and a good hamburger. It's a great mashup of ideas! Getting it right, however, might not be as simple as it looks.
