Yes, the Gallery of Regrettable Food is a classic entry in food humor. I gave my mother -- an accomplished cook who's also a survivor of the culinary '40s and '50s -- the book about 6 or so years ago and it graces her coffee table to this day.

Traditionally we always had the broccoli, raisin, red onion, and bacon salad.

It is good. I have to admit I sometimes buy it from our grocery store deli.
