In her defense, she didn't ask me to add it to the menu, she was reacting enthusiastically to my invitation when she mentioned it, and I decided to add it then. I had not yet made up my dough, and was going to have to halve the recipe to make a single crust for the pecan anyway, so...

I can just see his dinner guest asking for blueberry pie. There would be one small blueberry on the plate and on top of it would be a huge slab of Bill's favorite pie. "You want blueberry pie? Here is your stinkin' blueberry pie!!!"
