Perhaps you day starts later?

Or perhaps some of us are younger than you and subscribe to a carpe diem philosophy? My day starts rather early. I am up at 5:30 AM and in my home gym lifting weights and then moving on to a cardio workout before dialing into our European market status call before hitting the shower and usually arrive at my office before 8:00 AM.

Is that a late start?

Depends on where we are. When we are on the eastcoast (where our work is a lot more demanding of our time) we usually eat later, between 7 and 8, and usually only cook on the weekends. Since we are both native eastcoasters, we are convinced that our bodies are stuck on eastcoast time, so when we are in CA (Nov-May) we wake up (naturally) around 5:30am, and are starving for dinner by 5:30pm. Usually I shoot for having dinner made by 6 or 6:30 so we are able to hold off on afternoon snacking in anticipation of an early dinner. While out here, we also have a hard time keeping our eyes open past 10, but on the eastcoast, we often stay up until midnight. Go figure.
Hello. My name is Carrie, and I...I....still like oaked Chardonnay. (Please don't judge.)
