Will yogurt work? I eat some every morning, assuming that it can't hurt to keep one's calcium up ...

And of course there's always ice cream ... :)

I don't like plain milk either. Here is a recipe I use frequently - adapted from one posted by Mike Filigenzi.

Banana Smoothie

3/4 cup skim milk
4 tsp. chocolate drink mix (I use chocolate ovaltine)
1 TB peanut butter
1 TB honey
1 frozen banana, sliced

Blend all together and serve.

Keep in mind that green, leafy vegetables are also rich in calcium, as well as magnesium, both of which are useful for keeping blood pressure down in a significant fraction of hypertensives in addition to calcium's role in bone calcification. Bringing this discussion full circle, though, few people suffer from a calcium deficiency; rather, the calcium they do consume fails to get incorporated into bone tissue. That's where vitamin D comes in, as it's important for bone calcification. And, of course, in women of "a certain age" the issue is also one of estrogen levels, though that comes with its own can of worms.
