Mike, while on a hike to Black Mesa in the Oklahoma panhandle last October, I noticed the juniper trees were just loaded with waxy blue-green berries, and I picked about a pint in short order. Some went home with my sister, and the rest went into my freezer, to be used a few at a time in brines, pork roasts, etc. Never need to buy that particular product, at least!

I do like the selection at WF, but I have to limit my trips there to ensure marital harmony.
