Daniel, one person Commented on my Review of your book on Amazon with a literature reference I hadn't known before:

Bob, you included this quote: "a gourmet knows one can extract as much pleasure from the reading of such a recipe as one could in dining upon the dish." That reminded me of a section of "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" by journalist Jean-Dominique Bauby. After his massive stroke he wrote the book by blinking his left eye to indicate each letter to an alphabet-reading assistant. He tells of imagining all aspects of a fine gourmet feast, as one of the few pleasures left to him in his disability.

By the way, I WANT that peach ice cream!
