Now, now. I wasn't trying to wear you down. But after hearing months of layoffs, stock prices, etc., it sure sounds like a recession, but it's unclear what the definition really is. I also thought it was technically two consecutive months, but I guess I'm wrong. In the past, every time I graduated with a different degree and tried to get a job, there was a recession so it was probably my fault. But you can't blame me now. I'm retired and soon to collect SS.

I'm wishing Obama good luck; he's going to have his hands full. I know I wouldn't want the job. You betcha.

In the meantime, buy stocks.

Barilla at $1 per box at Albertson's.

Larry,
I honestly believe we are on the cusp of something great in this great country. I really hope so, and I fully know that it won't be easy, but I believe!

I almost fell off my chair this morning when Prather Ranch Organic Beef was $10.99 and $11.99 for Rib Eye, T-Bone, London Broil and one other I like but can't recall.

Well, everyone except John McCain already knew that. I'm surprised the market reacted so badly to the news, although it obviously doesn't take much these days.

You implied we are in a recession which is 100% incorrect.

David, I believe that you are misinterpreting Larry's words. He specifically said mental recession, which has no definition AFAIK, but I'll ask Phil Gramm.

Perfect timing! Now I can tell everyone that because of the recession I will only be able to afford to make homemade Christmas gifts for them this year. It should save me a bundle on buying presents.

I did predict recession in 2009, but if it started a little early hopefully it will end a little early as well.

Spectacular! Then it should end even earlier. Now you are really making my day and I appreciate your efforts!

No problemo. Obama's recession should end in no time.
