I received a Meyer Circulon as a gift and I really like it. And I'm a guy that prefers All-Clad stainless.

I'm not sure what the circles actually accomplish (I'm thinking that may be somewhat of a gimmick) but the coating has proved to be very durable and the pan has a nice heft to it. The handle stays cool and it can go from stove top to oven. I have even exceeded the manufactures recommendation for highest oven temperature and have still not had a problem. No warping either. And in the U.S. at least, they are more often on sale than not.

I've had two Circulon woks for about ten years. I would have said they're good pans, but in light of the fact that the nonstick-ness is intact without failing in any way over all these years of use, maybe I should call them 'GREAT'. This is the line that American-Chinese chef Martin Yan promotes.

Celia,

We had just about given up all hope of finding non-stick cookware that stands up to both time and performance. Our WOLL pan was a bit too difficult to clean on the sides and bottom, so we traded it with friends for a blender.

We use All-Clad LTD for just about everything, but so far, we are quite happy for non-stick applications with the 6" frypan from Germany's Chantal. I highly recommend you to consider trying one of these next, if your search resumes - or continues.

I am not connected in any way with Chantal, its distributor or sales force.

Thanks Jeff. I'll watch out for it, although I am ridiculously happy with my Woll pans. Happy to hear others are finding some non-stick that works - it's been a frustrating search! The guy at the cookware store said that Germany currently has the best non-stick technology.

PS. I wish I was connected to Woll or Chantal. I spend a fortune on pans!
