We tasted Sun (10/15/2020) some TablasCreek New Releases:
1. TablasCreekVnyds GrenacheBlanc Estate/AdelaidaDist/PasoRobles (13.4%) 2018: Light yellow color; very
fragrant GB/floral/honeysuckle very light chalky/mineral beautiful bit simpler nose; lightly tart fairly
strong GB/floral/honeysuckle slight mineral/chalky flavor very long/lingering very strong GB/floral/
honeysuckle finish; loads of pure GB fruit but a bit simpler than the '19. $24.00 (VIN)

2. TablasCreekVnyds GrenacheBlanc EB/AdelaidaDist/PasoRobles (13.5%) 2019: Med.yellow color; very fragrant
floral/GB/honeysuckle very spicy/bit cardamon some mineral/chalky rather exotic beautiful intense nose;
rather tart strong floral/GB/honeysuckle fairly mineral/chalky/perfumed talc beautiful flavor; very long/
lingering intense GB/floral/honeysuckle/bit gardenias some mineral/perfumed talc finish; more interesting/
intense GB fruit/spicy & a bit more mineral character; a beautiful GB that should improve for several yrs.

very fragrant floral/Verm/gardenias slight mineral/stony beautiful perfumed nose; lightly tart very strong
Verm/floral/gardenias light mineral/perfumed talc beautiful flavor; very long/lingering intense Verm/
floral/gardenias bit stony/chalky bit complex finish; a beautiful expression of Verm at a great price.

: Med.gold color; beautiful fragrant/perfumed talc
Rouss/honeysuckle/gardenias some chalky/mineral fairly complex nose; lightly tart very strong floral/
honeysuckle/Rouss very spicy some mineral/perfumed talc slight nutty/oxidative rather complex beautiful
flavor; very long/lingering complex some perfumed talc/mineral strong floral/Rouss/honeysuckle/honeycomb
slight nutty balanced rather complex finish; starting to show some nutty/honeycomb evolution but should go
out yrs more; my favorite of the EBdT because of its complexity.

: Med.light gold color; strong Rouss/honeysuckle/floral/gardenias light
perfumed talc light pencilly/oak bit simpler lovely nose; fairly tart strong Rouss/honeysuckle/floral/spicy
light mineral/perfumed talc bit lighter/simpler flavor; very long/lingering strong Rouss/floral/honeysuckle/
bit spicy light pencilly/oak bit complex finish; a bit lighter/simpler bit more primary than the other two
but still a beautiful EBdT with a long life ahead of it. $36.00 (VIN)

: Med.light yellow color; very fragrant
strong floral/Rouss/honeysuckle bit simpler slight pencilly/oak lovely perfumed nose; fairly strong floral/
honeysuckle/Rouss/lightly spicy some mineral/chalky bit complex balanced beautiful flavor; very long/lingering
very strong floral/Rouss/honeysuckle/honeyed slight pencilly/oak some mineral/chalky; very similar to the '17
and a bit on the primary side but slightly more intense & interesting; will be a beautiful EBdT down the
road w/ age. $36.00 (VIN)/$45.00

1. Jason is quite big on the quality of the TCV wines in the '19 vintage. These two '19 certainly confirm that
thought. My group was really impressed with these whites. When TCV puts any of their '19's on their monthly
special offer, we will pounce. If it happens on one of the free shipping months....we'll back up the truck.
The EBdT is the TCV flagship white. I never cease to be amazed about how well it can age. Most can easily
go out 10 yrs and beyond.
