WTN: `03 Loupiac Chateau Gaudiet Sauternes.
Have the `01 in the cellar somewhere but found this in a local winebar. Certainly not a high-end wine, maybe $18 for 375 ml? The color is a pale gold/light honey almost. On the nose, floral/peach/dried apricots/butterscotch. Sweet and rich on the palate, so-so acidity, ripe peach and more honey. Could use more grip on the finish, sort of fades away. Right food might have helped however, baklava maybe? Not my cherry strudel!
