Hess to close after 7 generations

by Mike BG » Fri May 15, 2015 3:44 am

After 7 generations of tradition, the Jerusalem-based high class sausage maker Hess is to close in a month, due to totally unreasonable demands from the Ministry of Health. It would seem that they are being asked to pay astronomical licence fees in order to be permitted to continue making some of their specialised products, which are deemed a 'health risk' unless such a 'bribe' is paid to the ministry ...

I have no connection with Hess, other than being a long time satisfied customer.
