100% tempranillo from Alejandro Fernandez' venture in Zamora. Initially I thought it was corked, but the rather musty aromas blew off after some half and hour from opening. Rather muted nose. Medium body red, 14% abv. Ripe cherries and some toffee. Dusty. It lacks acidity to keep it interesting, it comes across as rather flabby. Rather weak in the midpalate and not very tannic. Short/medium finish. I prefer Pesquera Crianza (in good vintages).
