1995 Weingut Willi Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben - Austria, Niederösterreich, Kamptal (7/30/2007)
A disaster of a cork (dry, crumbly - about 50% of the corks in this bottling have been terrible, with the rest just fine).

Anyway the wine is brilliant - smoked pear and nuts with just a slight viscosity to the palate that gives it the extra richness to compete with Thai green curry (mmm...veggies fresh from the local farm...picked 'em myself). Outstanding wine that is totally ready to drink.
