It's not their estate cab, which is still called Hess Estate or Mount Veeder on the label. It is a single-vineyard designate. It's sold at a lower price point ($20s vs. $35-40) than the standard Estate Cab.
I like it, but it is definitely a little softer, fruitier, and "sweeter" than the Mount Veeder/Estate cab. I'm thinking early drinking. It's an enjoyable, light Cali Cab-not too profound, but there is an awful lot of far worse plonk out there in this mid-point price range.
