1998 Dönnhoff Schloßböckelheimer Kupfergrube Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (7/27/2007)
Opened to go with Thai dishes at new, local BYO Asian place.

Smoky, peachy and minerally, with subtle sweetness that fades to dry on the back end. Rich in texture, with plenty of structure and length. Drinking very well now, this might head to mineral austerity (!) in a few more years.
