It still rocks. Not as funky as some vintages, a bit plumper and sweeter than some, refreshing and went well with the cheesees in the picture (Comté, Kuttuville, honest and proper and sharp Cheddar). Quite the ideal, in other words. I still think it's on the level of my favourites the '72 and '91.

How I've managed to go almost 7months without opening one, I'll never figure out.
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

Dear Mr. Musarholic... is this the current release??? I only find this as a futures in the land of Bush.....

No. The 2000 came out a few weeks ago (not available here yet, so no comments on that). As stated in another thread, I'll ask if Wade will be able to take one over for you the next time he is here.
