1995 Neyers Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa

I believe this is the only year Neyers made a Cabernet and rumor has it that this Cab is made from Eisele fruit, although that is not verified on the label. Well, enough of this pedegree stuff!!

I've had a number of bottles of this over the last 5 or 6 years and they suffer from some degree of bottle variation. Fortunately, this bottle was a good one. Wait, it was spectatcular. Black cherry fruit balanced by almost fully integrated tannins, enough acidity to eliminate any traces of flab, and framed by just a touch of oak. I guess that is called balance. I love it when this happens!!
Bill (Glad to have one more btl in the cellar)
