Deals?

I received this "sale" email from a local wine retailer. The location isn't extremely convenient to me, so I've never purchased wine from them before. But if there are any "steals" here, I might consider making the trek. I'm not very familiar with the producers, so I figured I'd ask the WLDG experts. Anything here look attractive?

The biggest offender is the Rosenblum. $34.99 is about 20% higher than normal retail for me.

I missed the Studert-Prum when I first looked - that could be a deal. I would taste one before buying lots though, as 2002 was very dependent on when folks picked.

I have a fairly decent knowledge of producers in CdP and I've never even heard of this one, let alone tried one of their wines. Moreover, anyone who thinks that the Mistral sings can't have spent much time in the South of France IMO -- howls is more like it. Maybe they refer to the person rather than the weather phenomenon, though.

I like Rosenbllum Rockpile Zin but that is rather high priced as earlier stated. I would stay away from the Cotes du Nuits Villages because of the vintage unless you can taste it first and find it to your liking. The producer is okay but 2003 is an atypical year.
The Joseph Phelps got my interest. Not familiar with that labeling but I like some of his Cabernet Sauvignon and would look for reviews on it.

I know the source of the pricing. The prices are always high on the Rosenblum because of how they get them. I may try a few of the wines at the store first.

The last time I bought some of the Bleasdale Frank Potts, it was several dollars a bottle more that your listed sale price. I would say that is a good deal.

I'm a fan of Frank Potts and find it offers fairly youthful complexity (from the mix of grapes), but it will last well (though I can't say it gets much of a chance). The price is reasonable without being a 'back the truck up' bargain. Not worth a big detour, but if you're going to go for other stuff I'd recommend grabbing a bottle or two.
