wine in desmoines

anybody know of a decent wine shop or two in desmoines, IO? will be there for the 1st annual midwest wine competition; and always like to see how the other half lives. i believe our food is taken care of; but if anyone knows a good restaurant, i can keep the name for reference. thanks.

Hmmm, I'm frightened by the lack of response to this request. I start a new job soon with a company whose main office is in Des Moines. I'll be spending a fair amount of time there in training. I hope the silence only indicates ignorance of such places on behalf of this group and not the dearth of them
