WTN:2004 Dönnhoff Schloßböckelheimer Felsenberg Riesling Spätlese

Mmmmmmmmm.

Clear barely pale white/yellow color.
Nose with apricots, minerals, a little spice
Palate apricots/pears, maybe a citrus, balance, balance and....balance. A little sweet, a little fruit, a little acid, a little mineral all balanced.
Moderate pleasant finish.

All this with 8%???

Fabulous subtle elegant wine. I served it with lemon-seafood pasta. There were no complaints, and hardly any leftovers.

The major problem I have with this wine is that it disappears so fast once opened. I wonder if it comes in magnums?

Finished tonight, 48 hours after opening. More complex, still very pleasant. Lovely stuff.
